When you are checking out, you will have the option to redeem your points for select services. Once those points are redeemed, you can pay the remaining balance via credit card. Please note, points cannot be redeemed during holiday blackout periods which can be found on our Paradise 4 Paws site here or our Pooch Hotel site here.

Members must spend a minimum of $50 in a 12-month period to maintain points, otherwise they expire after 1 year of inactivity.

How do I redeem my points?

When you are checking out, you will have the option to redeem your points for select services. Once those points are redeemed, you can pay the remaining balance via credit card.

How do I access my Paw Perks™, like complimentary early check-in?

Some of your perks like the complimentary early check-in and late check-out will be automatically applied.  Based on your status level, the system will recognize the number of hours you are eligible for and adjust your invoice as needed.  Other Paw Perks, like suite upgrades are applied to your reservation based on availability at the time of check-in.

How is my Status determined?

The Loyalty Program begins at 12:01AM local time on July 1, 2018 for Paradise 4 Paws DFW and Pooch Hotel Richardson.  The Loyalty Program begins at 12:01AM local time on September 13, 2018 for Paradise 4 Paws ORD, Paradise 4 Paws MDW, Paradise 4 Paws DEN, Pooch Hotel Lincoln Park, Pooch Hotel West Loop, Pooch Hotel Norwalk, Pooch Hotel Newton, Pooch Hotel Sunnyvale and Pooch Club South Loop. At that time, you may be granted an initial Status for 2018 based on your history at Paradise 4 Paws, Pooch Hotel, or Pooch Club Nationwide (exception Pooch Hotel San Diego, Hollywood, West LA, South Bay).

Your spending (excluding taxes, tips and refunds) at Paradise 4 Paws, Pooch Hotel, or Pooch Club Nationwide (exception Pooch Hotel San Diego, Hollywood, West LA, South Bay) on or after January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2018 (calendar year) will determine your 2019 Status.

Where can I earn points and qualify for Status?

Members can earn at all Paradise 4 Paws, Pooch Hotel, Pooch Clubs Nationwide.

How do I earn points?

Points will be earned upon completion of the service and after the service is paid for in full.  Member point value is one point for every $1 spent and cents are rounded up to the next dollar.  Benefits of higher level Status may include a point multiplier for each dollar spent.

What can I redeem my points for?

Points can be redeemed for select services and products. See “Redeeming Points” for specific stays, services, and treats.

Where can I redeem my points?

Starting September 13, 2018, members can redeem points at all Paradise 4 Paws, Pooch Hotel, or Pooch Club locations nationwide.

Can I redeem points for my family or friends?

Points are earned and redeemed at the member level. They cannot be redeemed for services for another member.

Do points expire?

Points are retained for as long as you are considered an active member of our Paw Perks loyalty program. Members are deemed active if they spend a minimum of $50 in a 12-month period.  Points expire after 12 months of inactivity.  Once points have been forfeited, points cannot be reinstated but a member can earn new points once they become active again.

How are my points calculated?

Points are calculated based on spending, excluding taxes, tips and refunds, at Paradise 4 Paws, Pooch Hotel, or Pooch Club Nationwide (exception Pooch Hotel San Diego, Hollywood, West LA, South Bay). Points started accruing for Paw Perks Members at Paradise 4 Paws DFW and Pooch Hotel Richardson as of July 1, 2018. Points started accruing for Paw Perks Members at Paradise 4 Paws ORD, Paradise 4 Paws MDW, Paradise 4 Paws DEN, Pooch Hotel Lincoln Park, Pooch Hotel West Loop, Pooch Hotel Norwalk, Pooch Hotel Newton, Pooch Hotel Sunnyvale and Pooch Club South Loop as of September 13, 2018.  Cents are rounded to the nearest dollar.

I received a refund. Will that effect my status or points?

Yes, the amount refunded will be deducted from the spend being tracked toward status.  Any points assigned will be subtracted by the refund amount.

I am a package holder and enjoyed complimentary 1 hour early check-in and late check-out. Is this benefit available on top of the complimentary early check-in or late check-out that is offered with the status levels?

With the launch of the new Paw Perks loyalty program we are excited to simplify all benefits and perks under this new program.  Package holders will no longer enjoy a 1 hour complimentary early check-in or late check-out.  This benefit is now determined based on your Paw Perks status level.

Paw Perks™ Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions explain the rules and benefits of the Paw Perks™ Loyalty Program that has been established by Paradise 4 Paws and its affiliates, including Pooch Hotel and Pooch Club (“P4P/Pooch”, “we”, or “us”) for its customers (“Members” or “You”). 

Membership.

Membership in the PAW PERKS Loyalty Program is free and all customers of P4P/Pooch are automatically enrolled as Members in the Program.  There is no separate registration or log in because our customers are enrolled through their MyParadise™ or MyPooch™ accounts.  You are responsible for maintaining accurate and updated information in your MyParadise or MyPooch account.

In General.

PAW PERKS are rewards based upon total Member spending at any of our locations, including amounts you spend to pay for boarding stays, day care stays, grooming, training, other services and retail products we sell, and to purchase gift cards and gift certificates.  However, PAW PERKS do not accrue for taxes, gratuities, shipping or via coupons or promotions or for the redemption of any gift cards and gift certificates. Any references to “dollars spent” or “dollar spend” do not include taxes, gratuities, shipping, coupons or the redemption of gift cards and gift certificates.

The Program has four tiers:  Member, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.   Your tier is based upon your annual spending during the previous calendar year.  Because we are starting the Program mid-year, special terms described below will apply to the initial year of the Program.   In general, you will earn one PAW PERK for every dollar spent at our locations.   However, a higher tier status may earn more PAW PERKS points or a multiplier of PAW PERKS points in certain situations.  The tier status is further described below.

PAW PERKS will be added to your account only after completion and payment of the service or upon the purchase of gift certificates, gift cards or retail products.  As examples: if your pet stays with us for 3 nights and you pay in full when you pick up your pet, then the PAW PERKS will be added after the stay is completed and payment in full has been made and if you buy a gift card, PAW PERKS will be added upon purchase.  If, for any reason, a payment is refunded, those amounts (spend toward status and points associated) will be removed from your PAW PERKS account.  PAW PERKS have no cash value and are not refundable, transferable, saleable or redeemable for cash.

P4P may email Members with PAW PERKS reward notifications, transactional information and promotional information.  Members consent to these notices as part of their MyParadise/MyPooch Accounts.  You may opt out of these emails message at any time by contacting us (PawPerks@Paradise4Paws.com). The PAW PERKS Loyalty Program is continuous, and no subsequent registration is required but you are responsible to keep your contact information current.

PAW PERKS Tiers.

The Program has four tiers: Member, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.  The tiers are based upon dollars spent by Members during a calendar year.  Dollars spent include amounts paid to us for boarding stays, daycare stays, grooming, training, other products or services provided by us and the purchase of gift cards and gift certificates.   Dollars spent do not include taxes, gratuities or the redemption of gift certificates or gift cards, coupons or promotional discounts. 

Currently, our tiers are based upon the following dollars spent during the calendar year:

You will be assigned a tier based upon the dollars you spent during the previous calendar year.  At your initial enrollment we will assign your status based upon your dollars spent during the previous calendar year or, if no activity occurred during the year, you will be assigned a Member Tier Status.  For example, if your dollars spent in 2017 was $2,000, we will assign you to the Silver Tier for 2018.  Your status will be determined and, if necessary, adjusted as of January 1st of each year based upon the dollars spent during the previous calendar year.  Please note that regardless of your Tier Status, your PAW PERKS account will only include PAW PERKS actually earned after you join our Program.

Tiers will be awarded as soon as they are achieved.  Spend in the current year will be used to determine the next year’s PAW PERKS tier.  If you achieve that tier in the middle of the year, you will start enjoying the PAW PERKS benefits of that tier immediately, through the end of the next year that status was achieved for.  For example, your 2019 spend is determining you 2020 status.  If by August 2019, you have spent $3,000 you will move to GOLD Tier for the rest of 2019 and through the end of 2020.

Special Rules for our first year!

We understand that we are beginning our PAW PERKS Program in July 2018.  Therefore, for any Members who were members in 2017, we will assign a status based upon their dollars spent during 2017, at any of our locations nationwide.   If a Member became a Member during 2018, they will be assigned Member status at launch and will achieve higher tiers as their 2018 spend warrants.  Any Member who joins after July 1, 2018 will be assigned a Member Tier status.  All Tier Statuses will be confirmed and adjusted, if necessary, as of January 1, 2019 based upon the 2018 dollars spent at all of our locations in 2018 (other than the Pooch locations in San Diego, Hollywood, West LA and South Bay which will only be included until April 1, 2018).  Please note that regardless of your Tier Status, your PAW PERKS account will only include PAW PERKS points actually earned after you join our Program. At launch, members will start with zero points. Perks and benefits of the program and point accumulation started on July 1, 2018  for our Dallas customers and September 13, 2018 for customers in all other markets. 

PAW PERKS Accrual and Redemption.

PAW PERKS points accrue based upon actual dollars spent.  No accrual occurs for taxes, gratuities, the redemption of gift cards or gift certificates.   You are solely responsible for any federal, state or local taxes. 

If a Member’s account is inactive for 365 days, any accumulated PAW PERKS points will be reduced to zero. Once PAW PERKS points are forfeited, they cannot be reinstated but a Member can earn new PAW PERKS for account activity after that date.  An account will be deemed inactive if the dollars spent are less than $50 during such 365-day period.

If you believe that your PAW PERKS account is inaccurate, you should contact ParPerks@Paradise4Paws.com as soon as possible.  Requests to review your activity must be received with 90 days of the occurrence in question.  Failure to supply adequate information and notice may result in a denial of a PAW PERK credit.

PAW PERKS may be used toward designated services we provide at our Paradise 4 Paws, Pooch Hotel and Pooch Club locations nationwide.  These services include boarding and daycare stays, grooming, training and other services provided.  Our current PAW PERKS Program can be found at in the information above these Terms & Conditions.  Generally, a PAW PERK point will be based upon dollars spent on 1:1 basis but we may add a PAW PERK multiplier to higher tier statuses.  PAW PERKS points can only be used for future purchases and may not be applied against taxes or redeemed in whole or in part for gift cards or gift certificates.  PAW PERKS will be applied prior to any other coupons.

Modifications and Termination.

Membership and benefits in the PAW PERKS Loyalty Program are offered at the discretion of P4P, and P4P has the right to terminate the Program or to change the terms and conditions, rules, regulations, policies, or procedures as well as the benefits of PAW PERKS, conditions of participation or Status levels, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, even though changes may affect the value of your PAW PERKS points that have already accumulated.

P4P may, among other things, withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any perk, reward or benefit; increase the points, cash required, applicable co-pays or number of points required for any reward or benefit; modify or regulate the transferability of rewards or benefits; add an unlimited number of blackout dates; or limit the number of reward reservations available at any or all locations. Members, in accumulating points, may not rely upon the continued availability of a reward or Status level, and Members may not be able to obtain all offered rewards or use rewards for all locations, suite types, or dates. The rewards structure and point redemption value is subject to modification, cancellation, or limitation at our discretion, with or without notice.

In addition, P4P maintains the right to terminate a Member’s participation in the Program at any time and for any reason, including a Member’s failure to follow the rules of the Program or the Pet Parent Agreement, or any abuse of Program privileges, violation of law, rule or regulation, any conduct detrimental to the interests of P4P or the other Members, fraudulent activity or attempted fraudulent activity, or misrepresentation of any information furnished to P4P.  Any such activity may result in the termination by P4P of your membership, the loss or cancellation of accrued points, rewards or benefits, or both, or the loss of other PAW PERKS. Terminated Members will not be eligible to participate in any aspect of the Program, and Members whose accounts have been terminated may not be eligible to enroll with new accounts.

P4P may amend its rules of the Program at any time without notice. Points, benefits, discounts, or rewards earned or granted under the Program do not constitute property of the Member and are not transferable, saleable or assignable. 

PAW PERKS may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion, coupon, discount, or special offer; and are void where prohibited by law; provided that you may use coupons and take advantage of discounts and special offers but the value of such coupons, discounts and offers will not accrue PAW PERKS points. PAW PERKS will be applied prior to any other coupons, discounts and special offers and the balance of any service or product will be payable to you at our published rates.   Services available for point redemption using PAW PERKS are subject to change and the amount of PAW PERKS required for redemption can change at any time.
